Stowarzyszenie Centrum Wolontariatu took a hands-on and personal approach to training its Mentoring Across Borders mentors by holding individual one-on-one meetings with their mentors. This ensured not only that every mentor received the concrete training at the same level, but also gave the hubs a chance to make a more personal connection with their mentors, aiding in the matching later and increasing motivation.
During each meeting, the Mentoring Across Borders programme and what it is about were introduced. Then the mentor introduced himself and shared his/her experience. Together next steps were elaborated and any questions were answered.
