Creating the social media campaign to recruit mentees for Mentoring Across Borders in Italy by Volontari Senior Professionali (VSP) has come a long way: after the initial briefing in February 2024, students have worked individually or in pairs to realise their proposal.
Eleven proposals were made in total which were then presented by each author or pair of authors during a dedicated meeting on 16 May 2024 to the board of VSP and teachers.
We were struggling to choose the final proposal because they all had something interesting and innovative, so we decided to spend a few days to analyse the proposals carefully, make a first choice to be discussed with the teachers in order to further validate it with some young people from the same target group and finally we arrived at the final choice.
The social campaign on Instagram and Facebook has started in July 2024 and we're looking forward to seeing the results of all the hard work that was performed by the students in collaboration with our Mentoring Across Borders partner Volontari Senior Professionali.
